...was for sure our biggest and "toughest" project in the house...
the vanity was too large for the space...the floor was ugly...the wallpaper (in the bathroom! I couldn't stand it) was peeling and gross...the toilet was super low...all kinds of problems...so it was of course the first project we really tackled...besides cleaning out of course...
So like I said....ugly everything....when we started....then:
We started taking stuff apart...
Once the room was empty, we put in a new floor:

and a brand new toilet...
a new exhaust fan...
a new vanity:
some new hardware:
...and a new light and mirror (to replace the crappy medicine cabinet)...
(that's our friend Evan helping us out one day...)
then I stripped the rest of the wallpaper:
then, the painting started:
and with a few finishing touches, we had a new bathroom:
Oh I love the vanity and my mom would love that lower wall color! It looks like the color we had in our bathroom before she decided to paint it sage green :)

We put the same flooring in our half bath! LOL
Lol....mike picked out most of the bathroom stuff actually...he's very proud of that fact. He did most of the work too....although I mostly did the painting. I have to get some pics of the new kitchen colors when were over there today...tomorrow I'm painting the livingroom :)
